Highly recommended to anybody wanting to stay here! Lots of lovely restaurants within walking distance which was very handy. Thank you for a great stay.

The sauna and jacuzzi were my main reason to book this place for a relaxing getaway, but the whole place is just perfect. Beautifully decorated, amazing views, and the host is so helpful and nice. The guest house is on their property where they also run stables, so if you like horses, it's even better!

We were unable to fulfil our stay as our car broke down en route. We only notified the hotel on the day and they were gracious enough to take our circumstances into consideration and not to charge us which would have been their right. It’s incredible to stay in such a beautiful place. The character of the building, but not only! You can tell the owners put their heart into making this place as comfortable as possible for visitors. Not just a place to stay the night, but to take a break and rest. We were able to walk around the beautiful property, discover hidden treasures in the brocante and really feel at home away from home! Bonus? Never have we had such a delicious breakfast, prepared with love by the lovely owners!

Clean and modern room, very good breakfast. They just installed a new water pump which caused the water to be less hot, but we were generously compensated for this.

Hoeve Roosbeek features luxurious rooms, cosy gastronomy and free WiFi in a restored farmstead, 15 minutes’ drive from Sint-Truiden. It features a garden terrace, bicycle or vespa rental. I took an art class 2 1/2 miles from this location so it was perfect for a short bike commute. With global warming, it was nice to have air conditioning as an option because most small countryside places in Belgium don’t necessarily have air-conditioning..

Hidden away behind a little cobblestone path, Freddy (the owner) has created a place that has everything you need to relax and wind down. Lots of space, both inside and outside, a swimming pond, a sauna and hottub, hammocks, BBQs and fireplaces. Surrounded by lush, green terrain abundant with birds and of course, the donkeys. I'll miss the sound of them... The surrounding areas are good for walking/cycling, but you won't find much in terms of bars/restaurants/shops. Whether that's good or bad depends on what you're looking for.
