Featuring a restaurant and direct access to a private beach, Hotel Punta Faro offers rooms with free WiFi and air conditioning in Cartagena de Indias. Go to Hotel Punta Faro if you can! It has a wonderful sandy beach where you can snorkel. The staff make a huge effort to make you welcome. They set up dinner in a different location around the grounds every night. The food was delicious. There weren't too many choices, which meant that I don't think too much food was wasted. The Happy Hour bar is right on the waterfront where you can look at turtles and watch the sunset. The rooms are comfortable. and the hotel buildings are all attractive and spread out around the grounds. The highlight was definitely the location though, with palm trees and beautiful sea views everywhere you look. Jose on the boat ride over and back was very friendly and helpful.

Everything about Blue Apple is amazing. We stayed for 4 nights as part of our honeymoon trip to Cartagena. The location, pool, rooms were so beautiful. The staff every single one of them was amazing so friendly and helpful and the service was excellent. In particular we would like to thank Jorge Luis luna, Samantha at reception and Yao for being so helpful and accommodating, and lovely people. The staff speak good English and mentioned they are all getting English lessons which is fantastic. The food is 10/10 we ate breakfast, lunch and dinner here each day and the food was just so beautiful. It is a little more expensive but you do not mind spending this money when the food is of that quality. They organise some events on some evenings like cocktail making classes, wine tasting, pizza nights. You have the option to choose to avail of this..there is no pressure if you choose not to. At the weekend during the day it is a little more lively but it's fine and we'll managed. Then by 5pm it gets quieter and becomes really peaceful.. They went they extra mile and offered us complimentary glasses of champagne, cocktails as it was our honeymoon. The extra touches of welcome cocktail, turn down service with gifts for guests was also amazing. The communication about the transport from Cartagena and boats was excellent We could not find any fault in this hotel. We would 100% recommend. Thank you for everything.

The view was incredible the boat journey was a bit choppy i think we got a bad day. But when you get there it is worth it. The fish is delicious. But the only thing was the alcohol was expensive gin and tonic £12.50. The beaches were heaven and the scuba diving definitely worth going. We went 3 times. Hotel is excellent for the price breakfast great. Thank you for our stay we will be back.

Fenix Beach Cartagena is located on Tierra Bomba Island and a 10-minute boat ride away from Cartagena. The property features a beach, an on-site restaurant and a bar. Such a powerful energy around the property - amazing people to meet and wonderful staff, delightfully comfortable rooms, excellent beachside cocktails and food, great music at night that you cannot hear if you go to bed early, quick and easy boat service… overall just an incredible experience. Vanessa, Jeison and Daisy were fast friends and really made our stay perfect!!! ❤️ And the dogs!!! If you’re an animal love you’ll have no shortage of amazing new friends. Absolutely fell in love with every single 4-legged baby I met! 🐶 Also pursuant to other reviews that we read before arriving… Yes, there is sand. It’s the beach. Wash your feet off by the pool before going to your room and your room will be sand-free. Seemed obvious to us, but worth mentioning based on past reviews. There is no hot water, but who would want it anyhow?! Showers are lukewarm which is perfect after a day at the hot beach. There is some trash in the ocean, but find me an ocean that doesn’t have its share of waste. Miami, San Diego, Costa Rica… they all have trash. But Fenix staff were doing their best to pickup what they can, but like anywhere in the world, more comes with every high tide. Enjoy the island life, and let go of your expectations. if you do, you’ll have the time of your life! ⚡️
