We could walk back to the apartment during the day if we needed something and although it was super central, it was also quiet. The hosts have done a wonderful job of renovating the interior of this historic old building, achieving a high degree of comfort and pleasing aesthetics. We all slept like babies on the comfortable beds and the generous kitchen dining area allowed us to enjoy our meals and wine in comfort. The bathrooms were clean and well designed and the showers were luxurious.

This unique, 4-star hotel lies right at the edge of the protected Lunenburg Heath, 4 kilometres from the nearest train station and 5 kilometres north of picturesque Schneverdingen. The location is incredibly beautiful and the rooms are modern, shower amazing, view from the rooms is spectacular. Sunrise and morning in particular. Seldom have I had a better breakfast - the ingredients were so good. Dinner was also very good. We did not stay for very long, but there are so many beautiful hikes and other fun outdoor activities to do in the area.
