Beautifully located hotel at the picturesque Danish coast. The hotel has gone through a modernisation and features a rather big spa (indoor and outdoor pools, three different saunas). The highlight for the restaurant was the breakfast although we enjoyed our dinner very much (they book a table just in case for every hotel guest). The rooms we had on the third floor had huge windows overlooking the beautiful coastline. The beds were super comfortable however a tad too soft if you are used with firmer mattresses.

We were celebrating our wedding at the hotel and stayed there with our guests for several nights. We had a great time and lovely experience there. I would especially recommend the "afternoon tea" experience. Breakfast was very good with a rich choice of options. I would also highly recommend to take the room with a sea view. This grand 18th-century independent hotel property is next to Kokkedal Golf Club and 19 mi north from Copenhagen. Excellent food for both the dinner and breakfast. Limited in selection but all good quality.
