The food was delicious. There were variety of different types of food including seafood. The location is perfect, you are surrounded by the mountains and the sea. The water park is great and we had a lot of fun there (both adults). The staff was awesome, very pleasant (but not too much as typically in Turkey for example) and always ready to listen to you. We had an excellent experience with the coupe massage and so far it was the best massage ever!

Offering a shared pool and a restaurant, the beachfront Swell Boutique Hotel is located in Rethymno Town. One of the best hotels I've stayed in. Beginning with the most welcoming check in procedure (thank you Yannis!) over the huge bed with two differently firm pillows to choose from right through to breakfast where we got freshly squeezed orange juice served at the table as a surprise. Our room was spotlessly clean, spacious and had the most amazing view of the sea. The hotel's location is very convenient as it is directly at the beach. Multiple supermarkets and other shops are in the direct vicinity.

Porto Enetiko Suites is located in the center of the old town of Rethymno within 30 metres from the beach and the Venetian fortress. It offers uniquely decorated accommodation with free WiFi. Lovely place with a lovely view. Very comfortable and excellent location. Nick was very friendly and helpful, gave us a lot of recommendations.

The luxurious Rimondi Boutique Hotel in Rethymno has a large patio with a pool and palm trees. The location in the old city was perfect. The room was very comfortable as was the whole hotel. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. It was very authentic staying in the renovated accomodation which had maintained it's original character. Plenty of good eating options.
