Set in a renovated farmhouse, this guest house is located by Lake Lagarfljót in Eglisstadir village. Chris and Rafael were very helpful and nice! The hotel is charming and has a beautiful view over the lake. Breakfast is a delight!

The staffs are the stars of the property. Special mention to Anna and Kuba who were the real stars of the property. Went well above their call of duty. The place is rustic and charming. The journey to the property was stunning.

Beautifully located in a forest area by Lake Lagarfljot, 25 km south of Egilsstadir, is the Hotel Hallormsstadur, close to hiking trails and various recreational opportunities. Great big rooms with amazing lake view! we celebrated a proposal and had experience the best service from the hotel team. Dinner at the hotel’s restaurant was great.
