There’s a perfect kitchen with a variety of utensils for cooking. Unfortunately, our time was limited, but we appreciated the amenities and the location close to the ocean.

Located in Grindavík, 500 metres from Blue Lagoon, Silica Hotel at Blue Lagoon Iceland features a fitness centre, a bar, a shared lounge and a 24-hour front desk. The staff was extremely accommodating pleasant and kind. The facility felt private. The fact that the lagoon itself was fof guests only made for a wonderful lagoon experience. Perfect place to stay to end a vacation, especially being just 20 minutes from the airport.

Just a 5-minute drive from Keflavík International Airport, this hotel offers free parking, WiFi and gym access. Absolutely amazing hotel with awesome and helpful staff. Luxurious and friendly vibe. Exceeded all expectations. The spa is extraordinary and also with wonderful staff. Magnificent restaurant with delicious food. We stayed one night prior to our flight from Keflavík.

This family-owned hotel features a wellness spa (complimentary with a stay in a Superior and Deluxe rooms), fitness centre and a fireplace lounge with panoramic views. Northern lights call. Amazing location to see the lights, perfect for the blue lagoon with transfers. Good fresh food to finish the experience.

This guest house is 20 minutes’ drive from the Blue Lagoon geothermal spa and 10 km from Keflavik International Airport. It offers breakfast from 06:00, plus free Wi-Fi and private parking. I had initially booked a room at the guesthouse but got a free hotel upgrade upon arrival. It was amazing - the room was clean, cozy and comfortable and the breakfast was superb. If you are looking for a room to stay on your way to/from Iceland, Hotel/Guesthouse Keflavik is the place to stay at!
