We had a lovely tiny cottage that was so cool. Although tiny, it had everything, a full kitchen, bathroom, etc. The morning breakfast is amazing, with a variety of options, and the restaurant overall just exceeded or expectations by a mile. The food was sooooooooo good, it is worth to stop by only to get a bite or two ;-) Btw, there are also two hot tubs with clean water - that was an amazing experience as well.

Fosshotel Reykholt is only a few minutes’ drive from the hot springs of Deildartunguhver and the Hraunfossar and Barnafoss waterfalls. It offers free parking and WiFi. The breakfast is one of the best among all the hotels we stayed in Iceland. The staff went out of their way to serve you. I left my notebook computer charger in the hotel. I had to leave on cruise the next day. They found it and sent it to Fosshotel Reykajvik so that I can pick it up after my cruise and on my way to London.
