Set on its private beach, Grand Hotel Santa Maria is 300 metres from Santa Maria di Castellabate centre. Its restaurant offers Cilento specialities and a buffet breakfast. The breakfast buffet included a wide variety of foods for every palate with seating on the balcony of the main restaurant, right across from the sea. Dinner in the main dining room was delicious. The servers were very attentive and aimed to please. There were not many dishes that did not contain seafood. The town was within easy walking distance and there were plenty of stores for shopping and restaurants, including an award winning ice cream parlor.

Our room was a good size with nice size bathroom and larger than typical shower. The views were amazing. The owners were available, friendly and helpful with any questions we had.

Its a funky pool with some interesting features, just long enough for a swim too. Inexpensive. Would come back and visit again.
