A true oasis – a fantastic boutique place for a romantic getaway for two. Unlike large and noisy resorts, here we enjoyed complete peace, silence, and beautiful surroundings. This is truly a place where you won’t hear loud music or screaming children. The hotel pays special attention to your privacy and serenity. In the evenings, we admired mesmerizing sunsets, and during the day we relaxed on a private beach with a stunning coral reef. Even without advanced diving skills, we could easily explore the magical underwater world just by snorkeling from the shore – we spent hours doing so. There is also a great scuba diving center on the hotel grounds, so everything you need is in one place. We were delighted with a spacious room that had a breathtaking sea view. The hotel staff was extremely helpful while still respecting our need for privacy and quiet. Breakfast was excellent – the variety of dishes exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend dining at the hotel restaurant with wonderful sunsets – huge compliments to the kitchen and the chef for both the local and international cuisine. The highlight was an absolutely fantastic lamb steak! We are definitely planning to return.

Ubicato ad Aqaba, a 700 metri da Spiaggia di Al-Ghandour e 2 km da Royal Yacht Club, De-Lara hotel prevede un centro spa e benessere e anche un parcheggio privato gratuito per chi viaggia in auto. The staff was amazing! Everything from making suggestions for the best dining in town, to preparing the sauna for us (twice- both steam and dry), to being accommodating for a late checkout (since our deep water dive tour got us back to the hotel later.) We are also grateful to Ma’en for our lunch which he made so special! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻😊😊 we will be back!! I wish I could give 100 stars! 😊

From the moment we arrived at the camp in the heart of Wadi Rum, we were welcomed with warm smiles and genuine Bedouin hospitality. The hospitality was exceptional — the sitting area (madafa) was beautifully arranged, clean, and filled with the scent of traditional incense. We were offered tea and coffee upon arrival, and the atmosphere was peaceful, making us feel immediately at ease. Guide Abdullah and the team were outstanding in their attitude and service. Abdullah treated us not just as guests, but like family. He was always attentive, patient, and eager to ensure that we were comfortable and enjoying every moment. Whether it was arranging our meals, answering our questions, or simply sharing stories around the fire at night, his kindness and respect stood out. The jeep tours and excursions led by Abdullah were a highlight of the entire stay. He guided us through some of the most breathtaking landscapes in Wadi Rum — from narrow canyons and sand dunes to ancient inscriptions and hidden viewpoints. His deep knowledge of the area's geography, culture, and history made each stop meaningful. He also allowed us enough time to explore, take photos, and truly absorb the beauty around us. What truly made this experience unforgettable was how authentic and heartfelt everything felt. Nothing was rushed or commercialized. The connection with nature, the silence of the desert, and the warmth of the people made it a magical escape. I strongly recommend this camp to anyone looking for a real taste of Bedouin life, guided by someone as experienced, honest, and welcoming as Abdullah. It’s an experience that stays with you long after you leave.

During my recent stay at the camp, I appreciated that the facilities were relatively clean, especially considering the desert environment. The staff tried their best to be friendly and welcoming. However, I felt that the level of professionalism could be improved. One point of concern was the extra hidden charge for bubble rooms and transportation to the camp. When I raised this issue, I was told that all camps follow similar practices. This highlights the need for government oversight to ensure transparency and fairness across the tourism sector. I understand the economic challenges facing the tourism industry in Jordan, but it’s clear that the Ministry of Tourism needs to play a more active role in regulating and organizing the business. Transparency is key—tourists should know exactly what they are paying for, and hidden fees should be eliminated. Overall, while the natural beauty of Wadi Rum, I believe there is room for improvement in terms of clarity, professionalism, and customer care.
