The room was clean (every day). It was a super comfortable stay. Did not want to leave :) Private bath worth it.

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in the city: location, room, service, and breakfast are all above expectation. It is very close to Kyoto Station, with one 7-11 across the street. Front desk is very friendly and helpful. Room is very clean and spacious compared with other business hotels. Floors are limited to guests only. It also has a decent public bath, which is unthinkable with the roughly $100 USD rate. Breakfast is in the ball room, with great variety.

It was a great experience to take off your shoes and enter the hotel. Everywhere was clean, the rooms were comfortable, the breakfast had a wide variety. The onsen at the hotel was very good. The location was also very good, five minutes walk from Kyoto central train station. We enjoyed everything, we are glad we chose this place.

The bed was very comfortable, the room was spacious and had a tea table and a couch. It even had an area/room for the luggages/wardrobe. the toilet was big- a vanity area, separate toilet, shower and a bathtub tub.We booked a 3 single beds corner room which was very comfortable. Absolutely spacious and well thought of design. The breakfast was a good variety of western and Asian cuisine, and had fresh salad, and they also served food that’s locally grown/farmed. Hotel was also environmentally conscious providing refillable stainless water bottles and a water filling station on each floor. The bath products provided were also organic and gentle on the skin and hair. The location was perfect! It is right next to Takashimaya and approx 70 meters away from the main crossing. It’s on the quieter side of the busy area. There is a small grocery on the ground floor selling local and home grown food, and many organic fruits and veggies. The hotel also has a few restaurants. We were only able to try Roku- a ramen place and we really liked it. The patisserie in the hotel was always full- many locals also go there for dessert/tea time. Across the hotel is a famous gyoza place called Chao Chao which always had a long queue. This is the best hotel I’ve stayed in Japan! I’ve been to Japan many times and I highly recommend this if you’re going to Kyoto and want to be centrally located. I will stay in this hotel again when I go back to Kyoto. The staff are very helpful, warm and friendly. They helped me in making a reservation for the airport bus from Kyoto to Kansai airport in Osaka. They also booked a van taxi for us since there were 3 of us with luggages.

Situato nel quartiere Shimogyo Ward di Kyoto, il Thousand Kyoto offre sistemazioni climatizzate con TV satellitare a schermo piatto. Location was very convenient. Rooms were wonderful and well designed. Recommended

Opening in March 2014, Mitsui Garden Hotel Kyoto Shinmachi Bettei offers accommodations with a modern yet traditional décor. The hotel is exceptional and frankly exceeded our expectations. Its minimalist architecture centered on an inner garden is a real highlight. We had a fantastic stay. Everything was perfect, including the public baths and the breakfast. We stayed in a superior room. The location was good, only a few streets away from central metro and bus stations. The room overlooked a quiet street

Ubicato a Kyoto e distante 200 metri da Teatro Samurai Kembu, Dhawa Yura Kyoto propone il servizio concierge, camere senza allergeni, un centro fitness, il WiFi gratuito in tutta la struttura e un... Posizione molto comoda, stanze pulite e confortevoli, letto comodissimo e bagno molto spazioso. Sala da pranzo molto accogliente e ben arredata...è come mangiare in una foresta di bamboo!
