It was a beautiful traditional guest house. I had breakfast too and it was lovely. I also really appreciated lifts too and from ski school and to the train station. It was honestly such a beautiful stay and I will be back. For any solo travellers, it was a very family vibe and I felt very welcome. Thank you Papa!

Next door to Akakura Kanko Ski Resort, Akakura Kanko Hotel boasts a golf course, a tennis court and a spa centre. Location was fabulous, views were stunning. Easy hotel shuttle ride to/from Myokokogen station. Lovely free drinks at happy hour(s) every afternoon. Wonderful indoor and outdoor hot spring baths. TABINO HOTEL Sado menawarkan penginapan di Sado. Dengan restoran, hotel 3-bintang ini mempunyai bilik berhawa-dingin dengan WiFi percuma, setiap satu dengan bilik mandi peribadi. The staff was VERY helpful in arranging transportation during a fully booked weekend on Sado Island. Goint the extra mile to follow up and get us a spot on an already fully booked bus back from the festival. Nice breakfast buffet, offering a mix of western and Japanese foods. And a bit better than normal expectations for a businessman hotel. Bed was up off the floor for us old folks.

The room was perfect with cozy vibes for enjoying the snowfall! If you enjoy skiing or just relaxing in a winter wonderland it’s a great place!

Guest Villa on the BI-CHI terletak di Sado dan mempunyai teres. Mempunyai taman, hotel 1-bintang ini mempunyai bilik berhawa-dingin dengan WiFi percuma, setiap satu dengan bilik mandi berkongsi. I liked Sado and the Guest Villa so much, I even extended my stay and spend 4 nights. Wish I could have even stayed longer. Where do I start; the house itself is just very pretty already from the outside, but so is the interior. You have a spacious living area with kitchen and a big balcony with ocean view (must be nice in summer) and everything is very tidy and clean. The bathrooms and toilets (several of both) are also clean, modern and with all the necessities you might need. I had the single room which was spacious and the bed was the most comfortable one on my 6 weeks of travelling ☺️ I also used the breakfast option for 500 Yen selfmade everyday and was allowed to use the laundry for free! Second gem about the Villa is Mitsu himself :) he is so kind, engaged, caring and helpful. You can tell that he loves his Hotel and makes an effort for all the details. Location: very good for public transport especially for the south and west of sado. Bus station not even 5 minutes away, Lawson 24/7 not even 10 minutes. takes about 40 minutes from the ferry by bus. You see and hear the ocean all the time 🤗 10/10 recommend. This made my stay really special and I hope to be back soon.

Hotel Yuzawa Yuzawa Denkiya provides free shuttle service to Echigo Yuzawa Station, a 5-minute drive away. It offers Japanese-style rooms with free Wi-Fi. The location might be a bit further from Echigo Yuzawa station but they have shuttle bus services which are really convenient. There’s also a convenience store nearby and their snowboard/ski gear rental are very cheap!
