This beautiful, 140-year-old bungalow has been immaculately preserved, retaining its original flooring, furniture, and architectural charm. The blend of historic elegance with modern comfort made our stay unique and memorable. Our room was clean, spacious, and well-appointed, offering a high level of comfort. The views from the property were stunning, especially in the early mornings and evenings. A real standout was the food—easily five-star hotel quality, beautifully plated and absolutely delicious. The highlight of our mornings was enjoying breakfast on the veranda, overlooking the serene tea plantation. A truly special experience. We were also very impressed with the service, especially from the manager, Manusanka. He was incredibly helpful, even contacting us before our arrival to offer assistance with transport from the railway station. Throughout our journey, he kept in touch to ensure everything went smoothly and that we were comfortable. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the charm of colonial-era Sri Lanka with the comfort of modern hospitality. This place offers a perfect blend of history, tranquility, and top-tier service.

Das Zimmer ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet mit kleinem angrenzenden Bad. Die Eingangstür ist eine zweigeteilte Stalltür. Vom Balkon hat man eine tolle Aussicht. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Frühstück war ausreichend und sehr lecker.
