The staff was very welcoming and professional, Eduardo at the reception with his bright smile as well as the attentive restaurant staff. I stayed in room 6 which is the last one on the ground floor and loved it. Beautifully decorated and with a calming view to the garden and all greenery outside, it was very peaceful. The bed was very comfy, the AC was blowing cold fresh air, and I rested well overnight. I decided to dine in the hotel restaurant, and oh boy what a lovely surprise. The menu consists of Spanish classics, tortilla espanola, pulpo alla gallega, croquettes etc. Everything was well executed in terms of quality, flavor and plating. I did enjoy my free margarita too :) Breakfast was included and also very good, with many options to chose from, well cooked and presented.

El Palacito Secreto Luxury Boutique Hotel & Spa está situado en el centro histórico de Mérida, a solo 10 minutos a pie del paseo de Montejo y la catedral de Mérida y a 1,5 km del centro internacional... This is a lovely oasis close to centre of Merida. Furnished with antiques the place is restful and the staff and owners were wonderful. Breakfast overlooking the garden was always a wonderful experience. The city centre is a pleasant walk or a very cheap uber ride. Very quiet location. Highly recommend this small hotel.

Esta hacienda del siglo XVIII se ha convertido en un pequeño hotel de lujo con piscina al aire libre y spa. Se encuentra a solo 2 minutos en coche de la carretera federal mexicana 281. Todo perfecto. Nos gustó mucho la habitación. El personal del hotel es muy amable y atento.
