This hotel is located right in the heart of all things tourist in the city center. The most chaotic portion of the city (nightlife and such) is within minutes of walking but you can walk in the opposite direction to connect to much more family friendly options like the huge street markets, temples, etc. It truly is a perfect location. There are tons of amazing restaurants within minutes walking too! Nearly right across the street there is a travel agency owned by Sunil Tamang. He will handle everything for your adventures and not be pushy. I strongly recommend him. The breakfast and staff were amazing at the hotel! The owner was very available and made sure we were happy! I even got a private tour of the property as they were doing upgrades. I very much recommend the hotel for all aspects: Location, hospitality, food, etc...

The hotel itself was perfect 😍 I loved it! I have different experiences in Kathmandu but this one is the best! Located in perfect area, real jungles in the city. Not far from the city center but located in hidden quiet place.

Firstly, I am impressed with the escorting made by very humble FO associate Rubesh; who briefed every single details of property and amazed with the magnificent view from the restaurant apart from that what made more interesting was service from Tilak, subash and everytime smiling bartender. Menawarkan teres, bar dan pemandangan gunung, HOTEL RUPAKOT AND ROOFTOP RESTAURANT terletak di Bhaktapur, 3-minit berjalan kaki dari Dataran Bhaktapur Durbar. Such a lovely hotel. It's obviously a budget hotel at this price but we were made so welcome and comfortable by the amazing owners. The hotel is just minutes from all of the attractions. Breakfast on the rooftop with it's amazing views was plentiful and varied each day. Constant WiFi and hot water. No hesitation recommending this delightful hotel.

It just exceeded all possible expectations we had. This is the best stay I've ever had. There are the nicest people working at the hotel. You get more than you imagine for this price: sauna, entertainment room with pool, everyday sunset with complimentary drinks, cooking classes, yoga, and the list is not ending. Everything is so authentic and amazing in this place! And special gratitude for having such an amazing yoga and sound healing teacher - if you are into this, you should try his approach to practice.

Everything i can go short on words from the cleanliness to hospitality they are the best from the time i checked in they made sure to take care of me like a family member the rooms are super clean and the staff is extremely friendly and polite it is by far the bestest hotel i have ever visited in my life special thanks to SHRISHNA, ARPAN, SMITA, RUKESH, KIRAN for going out of the way and taking care of me and not to forget at all mr sagar for showing me the city around he knows alot about kathmandu and he is extremely well behaved and polite i wouldnt have been able to see the city the way he showed me and answered all my questions I am highly impressed by the hospitality and the way kantipur village has now become like my home

We arrived very early, like 10AM, the reception staff did everything possible to offer us a room as soon as she could. She gave us the WIFI password and we sat in the lovely lobby for about 20 minutes enjoying a cappuccino while they were getting our very large room ready. The picture of the temple is the view from our balcony. The size of the room was impressive, and it was perfect to re-organize our luggage before leaving to Bhutan. We spend the day finding what we needed in the city and had a nice dinner at the hotel, we were up early and they were kind enough to set up the buffet breakfast by 6 AM. We are going back on our last day before going home. Thanks everyone for the nice welcome!
