The Antigua Casona San Blas is a family-owned and operated boutique hotel in the historic center of Cusco with 50 rooms. My stay exceeded my expectation. My room was upgraded, also when i came back to the room from the cold rain, found there was a hot water bag in the bed that was so sweet. The staff was very helpful, and the breakfast was perfect.

We wish that we'd spent more time there and also visited Luna's Horses next door!

The hotel team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They even offered to meet us at the train station and show us where to buy tickets for Machu Picchu (though in our case, we already had someone helping us). As soon as we arrived, we were warmly greeted with a lovely surprise and a thoughtful compliment from the hosts. Our room was large, cozy, clean, beautiful, with a perfect view of the Urubamba river — truly stunning. We even had a pisco sour cocktail class and they have an amazing wellness zone! We stayed for two nights, and on the second day we visited Machu Picchu, where we got engaged! 💍When we returned to the hotel and the manager heard the news, they surprised us with cocktails, cake, and a warm message in Bulgarian — such a sweet and touching gesture that we will never forget. They truly made our engagement incredibly special, and without them it wouldn’t have been the same. Their kindness and attention to detail turned a wonderful moment into an unforgettable memory. The breakfast is amazing and if you dine at the hotel, you also get a 20% discount, and the food is absolutely delicious — highly recommended!
