It's always wonderful to get good service in Sweden (as it can't be taken for granted)! The staff a Hotel Furusund was exceptional! They were super accommodating and went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as it could possibly be! For that alone, I will give them 5 stars. Beyond that, the hotel is located in one of the most idyllic parts of the Swedish archipelago, it was a famous artist community at the turn of the century. There is lots to see, or you can just relax and take the views from the hotel. Recommend a room with a view! The restaurant goes out of its way to serve inventive dishes that are quite delicious. The breakfast buffet is also one of the best I've had. I will be back! Thank you so much!

Smådalarö Gård Hotell & Spa is a unique and all year-round destination with curated experiences for all senses. Very nice and welcoming. Brought my family here and we didn’t want to leave. The rooms are big for Sweden and very comfortable.

There are hiking trails across the road. You can take the bus to town if you want to explore or go to a different restaurant.
