Situated at the base of the wild Tsitsikamma Mountains, The Fernery overlooks an impressive 30-metre waterfall in the Sanddrift River gorge. From the moment you enter the property, you know you're in for a special treat! Upon entering reception, we were warmly greeted and efficiently checked in. After that, we had a personal tour around the property and then were shown our wonderful chalet. The deck is large and has a fabulous view of the canyon forest. The bed is comfortable. The bathing area is AMAZING. The restaurant staff is excellent, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu and the area. The food is great! We already have it in mind for our next visit to the Storms River area!

I loved everything about the place, from the staff to the rooms, the bathroom wow you can even sleep there. Breakfast, well presented and very nice.

Situato a Cradock, a 400 metri da Schreiner House, Die Tuishuise & Victoria Manor prevede un giardino, un parcheggio privato gratuito, una sala comune e una terrazza. Very warm reception, great breakfast and evening meal. Safe parking. Every one was great, I left a pair of shoes behind and they had these couriered to me, most greatfull. Also great if visiting Zebra Mountain NP.

The House Quarters si trova a Kenton on Sea, fuori dalla Route 72, a 22 km da Port Alfred. In loco troverete un ristorante. Il parcheggio privato è gratuito. I was travelling with my girlfriend to Kenton on the Sea for a little getaway and some more. Kenton on the sea is a little gem within Eastern Cape and if you stay at the House Quarter, I can guarantee that your travel experience will be perfect. The rooms are super clean, modern, lots of space, fresh scent and all the appliances that you need. Also the power back up was excellent with no break ups in electricity. The mega bonus I must say, the reception lady upgraded us to the largest room (suite). We did not need the additional room with two beds as we were only 2 guests but still, it was very nice to have so much space. The views are amazing too. I would definitely come again. A big plus is also the shopping options with Spar closeby as well as the SPA, in case weather is not great. Thanks again for the upgrade. After being 8 years with my girlfriend, I ve proposed at the beach that evening after check-in. So we will never forget the House Quarters and definitely have to come back where memories have been built.

The historic Royal St. Andrews Hotel, Spa and Conference Centre is located in Port Alfred. The bathroom was excellent. Great tub, and a very large bathroom.

Located on a private concession within the malaria free Addo Elephant National Park, River Bend Lodge offers luxury accommodation, spa facilities and private game drives. Free WiFi is available. The grounds were really beautiful with cottages surrounding artfully landscaped grounds that were filled with birdsong. The chef was truly excellent and we enjoyed our breakfasts and dinners. Our park ranger, Paul MacKenzie, was outstanding. He knew the wildlife really well and had many tales from his interesting life. Rafa, one of the elephants blessed us with his presence at the gate on the day of our game drive and were fortunate to spend a lot of time with one of the lions. The Park concession was very good because it gave us long views. In contrast, during our solo drive from the bottom of Addo to the top, there was large bush obscuring views. I found the staff at River Bend to be really friendly and enjoyed my many conversations with them, particularly time spent talking to Jenna. I also enjoyed talking to Gladys, who worked in the kitchen. She and I share an interest in sewing with Shweshwe. We highly recommend River Bend. It is truly a 5 star experience.
