Cozy clean hotel with super friendly staff. The room was very quiet with comfortable beds. Plenty of parking space. Dinner at the restaurant was very delicious. Good food choices for breakfast.

You have all the needed amenities and a wonderful staff that is paying extra attention to every detail. I definitely recommend staying here while visiting Appenzell or the surrounding areas.

We had the lower appartment which was a beautiful place with a gorgeous view from the window with a small terrace to catch the spring sun. New modern bathroom, fully equipped kitchen. We also appreciated a washing machine and a dryer as we came for skiing. The slopes are really close. There was also a pingpong table in the basement which was a plus for the kids.
