The hotel was clean and the staff were very responsive and diligent. It is rare to not have anything negative to write about.

Hotel Playa Mandala boasts rustic-style bungalows situated on a private stretch of beach in Palomino. It has an on-site restaurant and a tour desk that offers special discounts for guests. Everything about this place is just right. Staff know what they doing as far as service is concerned and the property is beautiful and clean. I have been back like 4 times already.

This is a great place: nice room, good breakfast, nice terrasse, good location (near the beach) and Angie at the reception was always very helpful. I really enjoyed my stay there, in particular my long walks on the beach. Most important, I enjoyed to be in the middle of real caribian/colombien life.....and I am super relaxed now after my stay.

Featuring a restaurant, Finca Escondida is located in Palomino and offers its guests surfing lessons, rental of surf equipment, plus WiFi access is available in public areas for an additional fee. I really enjoyed my stay at the Finca Escondida. The whole place has a relaxed and cozy vibe that makes it easy to feel comfortable right away. The staff were super friendly and helpful, which made things even easier traveling alone. The restaurant was a real highlight. The food was fresh, tasty, and had a nice variety. I especially liked the seafood dishes. The pool area was also a great spot to relax. It was clean, well-maintained, and never too crowded. Perfect for reading a book or cooling off in the afternoon. Overall, Finca Escondida felt safe, welcoming, and well set up for solo travelers. I will definitely come back.
