This is a wonderful place, located on a tranquil beach where it is possible to swim (no strong currents). The Managers are super friendly and service minded. The food is delicious. They have a Whats App group so you can order food or drinks to the beach, and get updated about events and possible excursions etc. The accommodation is clean and very nicely designed. There are a range of animals including a dog, two geese and two parrot chicks on the premises.

This is a great place: nice room, good breakfast, nice terrasse, good location (near the beach) and Angie at the reception was always very helpful. I really enjoyed my stay there, in particular my long walks on the beach. Most important, I enjoyed to be in the middle of real caribian/colombien life.....and I am super relaxed now after my stay.

Featuring a restaurant, Finca Escondida is located in Palomino and offers its guests surfing lessons, rental of surf equipment, plus WiFi access is available in public areas for an additional fee. This was one of the best dining spots of our trip, offering excellent value for money. You can enjoy a wonderful meal by the sea, or if it gets too hot, in the covered restaurant. The staff is super friendly and helpful whenever you need them. The pool provides a nice alternative to the sea. We stayed in a spacious, beautifully decorated room with a fan. Just keep in mind when booking that there are rooms with fans and rooms with air conditioning. The location is also ideal: if you walk to the right, you’ll find quieter hotels; if you head left, you’re just a three-minute walk from the main street and all the lively action. We’re very grateful we stayed away from the hustle and bustle, in this lovely spot in Palomino.

Hotel Playa Mandala boasts rustic-style bungalows situated on a private stretch of beach in Palomino. It has an on-site restaurant and a tour desk that offers special discounts for guests. TheThe staff was amazing, pleasent and nice. All the facilities were great and the food was fantastic
