It was walking distance to almost all the places of interest. The room was spacious enough for more than solo traveller for the standard room. The toilet/bathroom was great. Bed is comfortable. There was enough hangings to hang my clothes. The table was big enough for me to put my necessities and still do work with my laptop.

Kagelow Mt.Fuji Hostel Kawaguchiko has been newly renovated in September 2015. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. There are shared bathrooms on the ground floor, and Mt. The view of Mt fuji from the street the hostel was on was amazing

Good balcony to sit on and enjoy the view. Could be a bit small for a family with some large luggage. Meals included in the price are Japanese style and good.

Just 250 metres from Zenko-ji Temple, Matsuya Ryokan offers simple Japanese rooms with tatami-mat floors, a green-tea maker and an attached Western bathroom. The hotel features public baths. If I could give 100 stars to this ryokan, I would do it! It was absolutely stunning experience in Nagano, the whole family and staff are extremely friendly, kind and polite. They receive lots of international travelers and they understand tourists needs. You MUST book dinners and breakfasts with them! It was amazing experience! On a practical note: rooms were authentic, hot water, heater were reliable. Location is superb, close to the temple and delicious snacks. This place is ideal for alternative travelers interested in local tradition and with the appreciation for culture and history: I wish the owners only the best customers!

Posizionato a Matsukawa, a 24 km da The Japan Ukiyo-e Museum, ワールドカリーの館 すぱいすろーど mette a disposizione un giardino, un parcheggio privato gratuito, una sala comune e una terrazza. Property was clean and comfortable. Also the host was very kind and cooperative. We did late check in which was also smooth and the food was also good. Host also offered us complimentary ride to the nearest station. Also gave us apples on our way back. Overall the stay was very comfortable.

Posizione buona per visitare tutti i punti di interesse (max 30 minuti a piedi) ma un po' lontana dalla stazione. L'host e la sua collaboratrice sono stati cortesissimi in tutto, davvero un'ottima esperienza :)
