The room was a decent size for Japan and was clean and modern. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location was fine for the subway and only 10 minutes walk from the train station but quite a long walk to most of the major attractions. It was handy having a 711 opposite the hotel.

This truly was an amazing find in Kyoto. Located downtown near the Nishiki market an a short walk from Gion. The room was small (though not particularly so for Japanese standards), and came equipped with all possible amenities, including a washer allowing for a quick batch of laundry mid trip. The bed was comfortable and I found everything to be well thought out, and the staff extremely helpful. One evening they helped me secure restaurant reservations when I was unable to do so myself.

For sure we will stay here again in the future. We really enjoyed the staff, they are wonderful people. The place is really clean and has a home feeling to it. I recommend this place and I cannot wait to be back again!
