The host was the nicest person you can meet! Always with a smile, super humble and helpful. Goes well above and beyond! Cottage has everything and super clean! Really super clean! Very nice small entrance and complete peace for your stay! Home made breakfast by his wife was sooo amazing too! He really made us feel liek home eventough we stayed only a day. Also he was super flexible with checkin, we arrived early - No problem and no extra charge! Nice view as well! Not to the Ella side but still amazing view! 😊

Our stay with Priyanga was spectacular, the best place we've ever been by far. She gave us one of the best breakfasts we've had on our entire trip, told us about important and beautiful routes and places to visit, and treated us with such kindness. We lost a backpack in a tuk-tuk, and she drove us in her own car to find the driver, turning around in the middle of the road to find him. I even told her we really liked the paratha bread, and the next morning she surprised us with a similar dish. The bed is also sooooo comfortable, we love it. I would love to extend my stay here if we had more time. I highly recommend it.

The staff were incredibly welcoming, professional, and always went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. everyone was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The location was exceptionally stunning. High up in the mountain overlooking tea plantations and a valley below, it was breathtaking. We were given a very warm welcome by a team of staff who took good care of our needs. The house was beautifully appointed, luxurious and super comfortable.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Nature Lodge Bandarawela! The place exceeded our expectations in every way. It’s a perfect home away from home with everything thoughtfully provided. The lodge comes with a fully equipped kitchen—complete with kitchenware, spices, and all the essentials, making it easy and convenient to prepare meals. There’s a cozy living area with a TV, fridge, and a comfortable sofa bed, ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring. The bedroom is spacious, featuring a double bed and a bunk bed, perfect for couples, families or groups. The bathroom has hot water, and the entire property is exceptionally clean and well-maintained. A special thanks to Mr. Lal, who made our stay extra special. Every morning, he served a delicious breakfast right on time, and was always kind, helpful, and ready to assist with anything we needed. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and we truly appreciated the peace of mind provided by the CCTV cameras around the property—it's very secure, so there’s no need to worry. Excellent property with excellent host. Who messaged me a day earlier to inform about room will be ready. Followed up until I come. Offered drinks, given umbrella to ensure we don’t get wet while visiting Ella. Excellent breakfast was prepared. Also follow up after I checked out to ensure everything was all right.

This place really blew our mind ! at start we didn't know we had to hike down the place to reach the room , quite scared at first but when we saw the view my God !! everything was just worth it ! The host ,the family were the sweetest , we stayed there for 3 days and we felt we were staying with a family. On our second day the pipeline broke due to sand erosion but the family late at night fixed it up by themselves. This you don't even see in any 5 star hotels. Tuk tusk would climb up the hill to reach us to our room and were easily available. Go to this place if you are looking for adventure and peace, if you are someone who loves luxury this place isn't for you. But it's one of a kind experience. You also need to be physically fit to climb up and down to the room and also carry some salt or Leech repellents since there are leeches since its closer to the waterfall.

Very clean and scenic accom. Hot water system was so nice in the cooler climate. Beautiful outlook from the mountains. A bit of a walk to Ella town, though easy to get a tuk tuk. Staff were friendly and accomodating, offering us breakfast and providing a lift to town.
