Udara is a wonderful host and will go out of his way to ensure his guests have the most memorable experience. He brought us to a temple for sunset along the coast. The sweetest little monkey called Pinky was there and loved to be around humans. His mother and aunt cooked us a delicious variety of curries for a private dinner in the villa. We went on safari with Udara’s company Yala Safari Wonders which I also highly recommend. The villa was pristine in terms of cleanliness. Highly would recommend!!!

Such a beautiful place and very pleasant hosts. This place is full of nature vibes and calmity. There are many birds, squerrels and peacocks live here. The meals were wonderful. This is really nice place and I miss it.

We had a smoothie bowl and avocado toast, which we really enjoyed.

This is the best place we have stayed so far in Sri Lanka! The couple who own it are so friendly and helpful. They welcomed us with a delicious passionfruit juice which we could enjoy in the beautiful garden. It’s so peaceful here, and you can see peacocks and varan lizards roaming around. The cabana is really nice and comfortable. The bed is comfy and the AC works. The bathroom was very spacious and everything was clean. There is even a fridge in the room which was handy. We also did our safari through them and Gayan was an amazing and very knowledgeable guide! Breakfast is also great. If we ever return to Sri Lanka we will definitely come back here!

If you need anything, they are there to help (they live at a house next to the villa). The food, they cooked for us was very tasty and a lot (too much to finish it all)! For breakfast you can either take a Western or a Sri lankan breakfast. If you want to go on a safari, they will organize a trip for you! The pool and the outside area is lovely! There are lots of fruit trees around (mango, banana, coconut) and you will get a taste of the fruits if you like. One of our group had a problem with his phone, so Ranjeed took him to the next phone store and tried solve the problem. Thank you so much! We can definitely recommend staying here!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Neem Tree House, nestled in the heart of nature near a serene lake. The house itself is beautifully designed with a charming garden and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that instantly made us feel at home. Our host Anusha was incredibly attentive and made every day special. From the thoughtful touches to the warm hospitality, it felt like staying with family. The local surroundings were peaceful and full of life, with animals roaming freely and a nearby pool perfect for cooling down on hot days. The house offered great comfort and a unique blend of local character and modern convenience. It was a highlight of our trip to Sri Lanka and truly a place to recharge and enjoy the beauty of everyday life. We highly recommend Neem Tree House to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing stay in Yala. It’s a place where nature, comfort, and kindness come together beautifully.

Το Kumbuk Tree House προσφέρει θέα στο ποτάμι, δωρεάν WiFi και δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης. Βρίσκεται σε Tissamaharama και απέχει 3,1 χλμ από Tissa Wewa. We enjoyed our stay in the tree house. The main treehouse room wasn’t available but the other house was. It was so nice hearing all the birds and animal sounds overnight. The breakfast was simple. There was secure parking for the rented tuktuk. The garden and attention to detail was impressive. We went for a run to the lake in the morning.
