In other reviews I read there are not activities and actually if you are a bit adventurous, not 100 mtrs swimming from there, you can snorkel and you will find turtles, sharks and a beautiful coral reef around. Be prepared to be connected with nature, lot of birds and very tasty and generous portions of food. The amban beach house is one of these rare places that are not only really nice, but also has personality and spirit, for the owners who live there and the staff are incredibly kind, helpful and friendly. The food (vegetarian for me) was amongst the best that i was served in indonesia, fair pricing and certainly cooked with love. I extended my short visit to manokwari and stayed allmost two weeks in the end. If you are interested in traveling papua, the two hosts Mar and Theo are very experienced in all kind of adventures and are happy to help you out with their travel agency. This is a homestay, basic room but extremely clean, Husna is an absolutely amazing person! Safe area, she gave us foot directions to a great dinner place. Husna has a wonderful place and is a great host. Great breakfast, refreshments throughout the day, a wealth of information about the area, flora and customs 😊.

Fajri is an awesome host - super responsive and made sure I had everything I needed, including early morning breakfast before my flight. We were given plenty of extremely useful information, including where to go for dinner. She arranged a taxi for an early morning pickup for the airport. The room was clean, the AC very welcome after 2 weeks of homestays in Raja Ampat. The facilities were simple but more than adequate and excellent value for the price.

The bungalow was clean, had a fan, a mosquito net and a little shelf space. The veranda and the view were amazing. The bathroom was outside and for us one of the better facilities during our stay in Raja ampat. The food was very simple but always enough. We enjoyed our stay and say thank you to the lovely family.

Standard Rooms are quite good and have AC and private bathroom with shower. The boat is one of the best around the island. Big and safe. Starlink wi-fi 24h. The dining room is a very nice place to be and relax. Food variety, quality and quantity was the best we had in Raja Ampat. We didn't dive but did a snorkel tour with them

The BEST guesthouse! Recky was very professional and welcoming. Devy and Adelia made sure we were comfortable and happy. Bungalows with private bathrooms facing the ocean. Amazing food, each meal different from the last. The chef even made a surprise birthday cake for my boyfriend! 🎂 Incredible snorkeling just in front of the bungalows! If you don't like falling asleep with the sound of the waves this is not the place for you! 🤭 Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!
